    Description

Offered here is are two complete CAST-SIGNED original production scripts used during the June 21, 1995 recording of the Spider-Man episode ”Make A Wish: Part One” and the July 12,1995 recording of “Make A Wish: Part Two” (also called “The Attack of the Octobot”).
“Part One” aired on May 4, 1996 and “Part Two” aired on May 11, 1996.
The signatures on the scripts include that of Christopher Daniel Barnes, who voiced Spider-Man. Prior to his work on Spider-Man, Barnes was best-known for voicing the character of Prince Eric in "The Little Mermaid."
Other signatures on the scripts include those of series regulars Ed Asner, who played Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show; Majel Barrett, wife of Gene Roddenbery and voice of the computer on the Star Trek television series; Saratoga (Sara) Ballantine; Patrick Labyorteaux; and Rodney Saulsberry, a popular voice-over artist and commercial pitchman for such brands as Twix and Zatarain’s.
The series was recorded totally in Los Angeles -- rather than in Toronto or Vancouver --allowing the producers the opportunity to tap into the vast Hollywood television and voice talent pool.
The guest cast for these two episodes included Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., who played Stu Bailey on“77 Sunset Strip,” and Roscoe Lee Browne, who received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination of Outstanding Performer in a Animated Program for his performance as Kingpin in “Spider-Man.”
Another guest artist was Michael Rye (1918-2012), who voiced Dr. Farley Stillwell In Part One. Rye's decades-long career included leads in such Golden Age of Radio series as "Jack Armstrong the All-American Boy" and Tim Lawrence on "The Guiding Light." According to Variety, "Rye had a significant first on his vita: He voiced the first full-length recorded book, 'The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin.'”
The cast autographs are REAL and not reprints and are signed on a separate page of the script. All signatures were signed in person by the actors as they left the recording booth during the original recording session. The scans accompanying this listing show the cast members and their autographs.
The two 30+ page scripts are in very good condition, but do show some signs of wear, including impressions made by paper clips. Unlike many of the other scripts we've sold, there are no asterisks or comments on any of the pages.
The Fox KidsNetwork Spider-Man series (1994-1998) was one of the most acclaimed comedy action-adventure cartoon series of the past 25 years and helped convince movie executives that the web slinger had a future as a live action movie star as well.
Note: These two scripts will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail (with tracking).
